EDUCATION
1967-1968 Trained in drafting and mechanical drawing, Ulster County Community College, NY
1981 Bachelor of Art, honor graduate, University of Arkansas at Little Rock
1982 Earned 12 credits toward MFA in painting, University of Arkansas at Little Rock
1983 Woodstock School of Art, Woodstock, NY

RELATED EXPERIENCE
1969-1971 While in Military service: Welding School, Aberdeen, MD, Illustrator, Machinato Service Area, Okinawa Japan, Painted Murals, Fort Dix, NJ
1971-1975 Worked all phases of building trades: Carpentry, Masonry, plumbing, electrical.
1975-1976 Assistant Director, Arkansas Ecology Center: Produced, illustrated and co-wrote monthly newsletter.
1980-1990 Purchased and restored turn-of -the-century house in Little Rock, AR. Renovated many other historic homes in historic district.
1984-1988 Designed and constructed passive solar, energy efficient house in Woodstock, NY, incorporating antique ornamentation and Georgian Revival architectural style.
1989 Relocated and restored 150 year old log cabin, Little Rock, AR

ART PROJECTS
1975 20'x100 outdoor mural for Little Rock Farmers Market. Indoor mural, Little Rock Zoo.
1974-1976 Designed and/or Built floats for Christmas, Bicentennial, and Carter Inaugural Parade.
1980 Planned and directed painting of 40x140 mural for Arkansas Territorial Restoration.
1980 Engineered and directed construction of five ton concrete sculpture, University of Arkansas, Little Rock.
1980-1982 Entered paintings in regional art shows winning many awards including The Arkansas Governor's award in 1982
1985-1986 Photographer and photo editor, Quapaw Chronicle (Monthly newspaper of Little Rocks historic neighborhoods)
1987 Worked all aspects of model building for architects and museums, Lennon-Sokoloski Architectural Model Builders. New York, NY.
1989- Work in progress on "The Lost Highway"
